.... and excellent customer serviceBy: Borjana on 7 September 2020Hi my name is Borjana and I have been buying catheters since 2013 in Paralogic. I use two types of catheters in Paralogic Nelaton Catheter Female size Fg 14 and Silicone Foley Catheter 2-way 5-10ml balloon. I can tell you that both catheters are of excellent quality and that their prices are affordable. A very important thing is that in addition to quality products, they have an excellent customer service led by Anna Marie. Also, the packages arrive in record time. You will not regret it. Thanks to the team, their support means a lot to me♥️
My Experience with both Long & Short term Foley'sBy: I Mckenzie on 7 September 2019I am an 82 yr old male with a high residual urine volume--so require intermittent catheterisation now. I was in hospital recently & had a Foly's in place for ~ 8 weeks--I loved it--sleep right thru the nite w/o having to get up . The inconvenience of changing bags was worth it. I was on antibiotics (for pneumonia) so little risk of infection. At home,I ran out of the intermittent catheter & used Foley's--& had the same experience as in hospital--EXCEPT the connections cam apart & so I wet the bed. I called Paralogic who said they had not heard of this happening before --but made some suggestions --I used tape after this & it was OK--I suspect that the night bag had been used too much & a connection had worn down. I liked the Folye's so much in hospital that I asked my urologist about more permanent use--he was not happy because of the risk of infection--so I accepted this but don't follow--its one catherisation procedure every 3+ weeks with Foley's VS 2 daily with intermittent--I suppose that"indwelling" has something to do with it--as I'm on antibiotics --not a problem. PS The Foley's was easy to manage at home, with insertion & balloon blow up--I wasn't sure what vol of sterile water to use--so put in 5ml & that was sufficient
